How Freedom Dies: 1984 vs Brave New World

Collectivism is a doctrine, central to several ideologies, in which the goals of a certain collective, such as a state, a nation, a socio-economic class, an ethnic group, or a society, are given precedence over the freedoms and goals of individuals. Society has shown time and time again, more so in recent history, how it is willing to trade individual freedom for collective comfort and illusory “safety”. The desire for Immediate gratification has never been higher. A Hedonistic Collectivism has humanity in its grip.
