In the West today, you can’t afford to live in the country you were born in, but people who weren’t born there are given a free ride. Remember, it’s by design. In the early 2000s, people were getting too well off, so they got hit with a bogus financial crisis in 2008. It took a decade, but people recovered and were on track to be even better off. So they got hit with a bogus pandemic that wiped out entire industries, skyrocketed property values, and, of course, inflation. And yet another financial crisis is already in the making; the Google search numbers for “help with mortgage” have exceeded the 2008 numbers. The design is to keep the proles in perpetual limbo of financial middle ground – not broke enough to go bankrupt but not rich enough to enjoy a middle-class lifestyle. Ancient slaves had to have every one of their needs taken care of by the master. Modern slaves pay for every one of their needs themselves while drowning in misery and never-ending consumerism.
