Activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali On The Dangers Of Islamism

Like the editor of Charlie Hebdo, Stephane Charbonnier, New York-based activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali was and still is on an al-Qaeda hit list. She says the West needs to acknowledge the link between radical Islam and violence and in the wake of the attacks, the media mustn't be silenced in its pursuit of free conscience and expression.

That “led to it by Hitler” trope is tired…and false. Anti-Semitism in post-war Germany was virulent…Hitler enabled (and encouraged) it to manifest itself publicly and finally as a directive of the state.

The politicians may be worried (if we give them the benefit of the doubt of good intentions) that this is like, or may be perceived to be like, the excise of Jews under Hitler. But, this is a false analogy, because this is a movement of the people, not a movement of an evil dictator and his court. Unless I am ignorant, it wasn’t the German people that rallied themselves against the Jews, but they were led into it by Hitler. Am I wrong?

Big debates every night on television between those who wish to stigmatize the Germans who are protesting the loss of their inner cities and their culture to Islamic Sharia-Law and those Multi-Culti-propagandist Germans who insist on being Politically Correct and “Tolerant” while their culture is being eviscerated from within. Fascinating. The Press and the bien-pensant Ruling Classes are advocating for the protests against the Islamization of Germany to stop. The people have other ideas and are becoming more and more vociferous in their insistence that this is no longer acceptable.
