Totalitarianism is the ultimatum of managerialism, but the cruel irony is that if they ever gained total control they would realize that the imperfections of the world cannot be managed away nor treated as inefficiency. One cannot use incentives born of this world to lead people into that which requires spirit and character. We must not let our spirits break under the pressure.
