US 22 ELECTION AUTOPSY: American Morons

The Japanese said it best way back in 1620: “He who refuses to be as ruthless as his enemy is destined to never triumph”. The only way to fix the corrupt voting system in America is to imitate and punish the enemy… and then go a few steps further to guarantee victory. Once that’s accomplished the electoral system can be reformed to an inviolable in-person, voter ID, must-be-a-citizen, and no-late-counting-exceptions system. Early voting is fine as long as it is in person. If the Right refuses to act like the Left because of the tired RINO (Republican In Name Only) “we’re better than them” mantra, they will never have the opportunity to repair a broken system. As long as the people who are winning by the “ballot” method are in power the rules aren’t going to change to favor the “vote” method. There is a new rule set, and the Republicans either adapt or become irrelevant.

BY THE INTERNATIONAL CHRONICLES, THE CONSERVATIVE TREEHOUSE, AND AMERICAN THINKER

As the political discussion centers on the 2022 wins and losses from the midterm election, one thing that stands out in similarity to the 2020 general election is the difference between ballots and votes. Insofar as electioneering is concerned, where votes were the focus, the Biden administration suffered losses. However, where ballots were the focus, the Biden administration won.

Since the advent of ballot-centric focus through mail-in and collection drop-off processes, votes have become increasingly less valuable amid the organizers who wish to control election outcomes. As a direct and specific result, ballot distribution, assembly, collection and return have become the key to the Democrat party’s success. The effort to attain votes for candidates is less important than the strategy of collecting ballots.

It should be emphasized; these are two distinctly different election systems. Ballots -vs- Votes. The system of ballot distribution and collection is far more susceptible to control than the traditional, now arcane, system of votes physically cast at precincts.

A *vote* cannot be cast by a person who is no longer alive, or no longer lives in the area. However, a *ballot* can be printed, distributed, completed, and returned regardless of the status of the initially attributed and/or registered individual. ‘Votes’ and ‘Ballots’ are two distinctly different things. Votes require people, are difficult to manage, and are costly for electioneering. Ballots require systems, easier to manage and more cost-effective.

While ballots and votes originate in two totally different processes, the end result of both “ballots” and “votes,” weighing on the presented election outcome, is identical.

The controversial 2020 election showed the result of making ‘ballots’ the strategy for electoral success. Under the justification of COVID-19 mitigation, mail-in ballots took center stage. Ballot harvesting was one term for the collection process but don’t get hung up on it. Now that ballot collection has been shown to be a much more effective way to maintain political power, Democrats in a general sense are less focused on winning votes and more focused on gathering ballots.

When ‘ballot organization’ becomes more important than ‘vote winning,’ you modify electioneering approaches accordingly. It might sound simplistic, but inside the distinct difference between ballots and votes, you will find why refusing debates is a successful strategy.

If you are trying to win votes you could never fathom campaign success by refusing to debate an opponent (as many in the Democrat party have done the last few election cycles, including the brain-dead Biden). However, if your focus is centered around ballot collection, the debate is essentially irrelevant. You can vote at any scale you want, but when ballots are more important than votes – the election will always favor the former. Michigan and Pennsylvania voters are likely very unhappy today, while Michigan and Pennsylvania ballot providers are smiling.

If Democrats had to win individual ‘votes’ to gain election success, they would be at a disadvantage. It would be unfair. However, as long as Dems only need to gather ‘ballots’, they have a path to winning elections. The process of electioneering is modified accordingly. Campaigning, advertising, promoting, debating, hand-shaking, crowd attendance, and venues for rallies – along with physically meeting people and convincing them of your worth – are only important if you are trying to win votes.

Fortunately for Democrats, modern electioneering does not require these arcane voting efforts. So, in the larger picture of what you see in election outcomes, they have stopped wasting time and doing them.

Republicans are running around trying to convince people and win votes. Meanwhile, who needs voters? Democrats have skipped all of that old-fashioned stuff and modified all of their electioneering systems to quietly and efficiently collect ballots. On November 9th, 2020 you saw the outcome. Who cares about votes? Modern elections are the result of ballots.

(It’s time for those in the voting group to start seeing the difference between elections decided by votes and elections decided by the ballot group. They are two entirely different election processes. It really is that simple.

THE INTERNATIONAL CHRONICLES’ CONCLUSION:

The underlying predicate of the US electoral system is ONE MAN / ONE VOTE. It is beyond obvious that the Democrat strategy is de-linking the VOTER from the ballot. Their strategy is NOT de-linking the VOTE from the ballot. With cleansed voter rolls and controls on who gets a ballot, there is a 1-TO-1 CORRESPONDENCE between the vote and the ballot.

The “problem” is that the GOP doesn’t play the game of manufacturing ballots that are disconnected from the voter as the Democrats do. That is, the GOP ISN’T AS GOOD AT CHEATING. If you want to cheat you have to disconnect the ballots from the VOTERS. You can do this by 1) using machine algorithms to manufacture electronic votes that have no VOTER attached, 2) creating hard copy ballots that have no VOTER attached, or 3) using illicitly obtained created ballots to vote for actual registered voters without their knowledge, etc.

All the cheating ends when voter rolls are cleansed and ballots are only given to valid, registered voters.

RANDOM FACTS:

Married men broke Republican by 20 points

Married women broke Republican by 14 points

Unmarried men broke Republican by 7 points

Unmarried women broke Democrat by a whopping 37 points

Blacks broke for the Democrats on a nearly 9.5-1 basis… this swung New York and Pennsylvania for the Left

RANDOM CONCLUSIONS:

The Republican Party is the party of married and – increasingly – unmarried men.

The Democratic Party is the party of the coastal bourgeoisie and its self-appointed “elites”, unmarried women, and blacks.

Liberal single women view the government as their chief protector and provider. The gender marriage story will rise in importance as the share of unmarried females climbs.

Poor urban blacks view the government as their chief provider and plantation master.

When you make the government your spouse and/or your chief provider, you choose the political party that promises the most free stuff.

Women voted themselves into economic slavery over the “right” to kill their babies.

Poor urban blacks decided to stay on the government “plantation” and remain – overwhelmingly – wards of the state.

THE VOTING MORONS: by J.R. Dunn for AMERICAN THINKER

You know the story: a man wakes up after a century-long bout of suspended animation to find… orbital colonies? Contact with aliens? Cheap universal fusion power? Nope – he finds a culture inhabited by ill-dressed goons speaking in monosyllables, with no understanding of history or the natural world or anything else, surrounded by shoddy, fake technology. The president is a dreadlocked idiot. The average IQ hovers around 65.

Sure… you know that one. It’s Idiocracy, the comic film from 2006.

Except that it isn’t — it’s “The Marching Morons,” a 1951 short story by C.M. Kornbluth. That’s where the producers of Idiocracy got it, without acknowledgement, knowing that the current run of morons wouldn’t recognize it.

The theme and most of the details are identical: the intelligent and educated failed to reproduce, leaving the world to be populated by the subnormal. Except that while Idiocracy is slapstick comedy, “Morons” is high tragedy – in fact, tragedy of the highest sort, one that mourns the loss of an entire civilization.

The people running Kornbluth’s moron society behind the scenes are highly intelligent and preternaturally decent. But they’re at the end of their string. They know that their society is reaching a state of collapse, and they know what must be done. But they can’t force themselves to do it.

But then the hero awakens. He’s from the 20th century, one of the most brutal epochs on record. And he’s an experienced ad man, Don Draper in person, able to persuade anybody to do anything. In short order, a solution is in the works that will rid the world of the bulk of the morons… and it even pays for itself!

We’ve haven’t reached the state of Idiocracy or “Marching Morons” as of yet. But from the evidence of the midterms, we’re a good halfway there.

We now have two mentally damaged individuals in high office in this country, neither able to function as an independent adult. How did they get there? By being elected… with the addition of other means.  But it was the votes that created a situation where those “other means” could work.

In other words, the moron vote played a large role. Tens of millions of voters who can’t recognize a mentally crippled individual when they see one. Who witness electoral cheating in front of their eyes as clearly as that of a three-card monte dealer but don’t see it for what it is. Who simply can’t make the connection between the close of critical pipelines and gas costing six bucks at the pump. Who could not define “inflation” at gunpoint, don’t understand that it’s always caused by government policy, and view it – if they view it at all – as something of an act of God. Who have utterly forgotten the peak state that this country enjoyed only two years ago. Who think “we’re going to make you eat bugs,” is a joke. Who are easily persuaded, easily manipulated, easily confused, and easily run into the slaughterhouse.

How did it get this way? In truth, the term “morons” isn’t strictly accurate. Many – even most – of these people are of average intelligence, and should be able to figure their way out of a rat maze with little problem. The difficulty arises due to the fact that they have been relentlessly dumbed down for the better part of a century by an utterly corrupt educational system backed by bureaucrats and pols acting in full approval of the process.

This started with the progressive reformer John Dewey, probably the most influential educator on record. Starting at the turn of the 20th century, Dewey set about to remake the entire educational system, at that point largely consisting of small, decentralized schools staffed by graduates of normal colleges.

It’s possible to access the curricula for those 19th-century prairie schools. Younger children were introduced to Greek and Latin, in the later grades joined by a modern language, were introduced to geometry and algebra early, with calculus for the older children. Literature was taught by accessing the highest canonical works. In other words, grade-school children were easily mastering topics that most college postgraduate students today would find impossible.

With Dewey, all this went by the board. Along with such trends as experiential learning and hands-on education, Dewey believed that the needs of society were paramount. According to his educational theories, students were destined for utilitarian service in an industrial society. They didn’t need all that fustian stuff – Socrates, Cicero, Shakespeare… Instead, they would learn exactly what they needed to know to be a low-class industrial worker, and no more. The rest of their education would be devoted to indoctrination in Dewey’s idea of a “liberal” society.

The managerial class, needless to say, would be educated separately.

It’s true that private schools and religious schools (particularly the massive nationwide Catholic school system) threw a spanner into Dewey’s finely-calibrated machine. But Dewey’s “reforms” dominated American education, eventually seeping into private and religious schools.

That forms the basis of the modern educational system. But only the basis – ideologies like Dewey’s evolve, like everything else, and today they have developed into a system that is all ideology, with students effectively taught nothing.

I come from a family of teachers, so don’t tell me I’m wrong. For evidence, I suggest consulting any recent college educational course or teacher’s handbook. For instance, in a Whole Word handbook published in the 1980s, you will find the statement, “We do not feel obligated to prepare students to be cogs in an industrial machine,” which among other things, knocks away the final prop holding up Dewey’s theory of pedagogy. “Whole word” was an academic fad for teaching reading that depended on teaching recognition of individual words – nothing at all of phonics or the alphabet that had successfully served children for centuries. Reading scores plummeted and high schools began graduating students who were functional illiterates. The educational system has never really recovered. Once standards fell, they remained just where they were.

So these educators were intent on not teaching kids how to read, in order to pave the way for the great proletarian revolution. And that’s only one example.

The result is a large cohort marked by ignorance, naivete, flightiness, emotionalism, and frivolity. That has no grasp of how the world works, even the parts of it that directly impinge upon themselves. That thinks in terms of soundbites, buzzwords, slogans, and images. That is used to stumbling through life with invalid information or none. That has no idea how to obtain a more elevated viewpoint, or even that such a thing exists.

That’s how we get purple-haired kids who think they can change their “gender” by making a wish, well-groomed suburban moms who think that, “I believe that Joe Biden… (lengthy, meaningful pause) cares about people…” is a profound statement, mob hysteria over useless medical masks, and billionaires who got that way by creating software that enables people to communicate with imaginary friends.

We also get people who can vote for a Biden or a Fetterman and think they’ve done their duties as a citizen.

In other words, you get an electorate comprised largely of semi-morons.

Before we despair, let’s not forget that most of the Left also fits this mold. Those Saks-wearing moms and kids with the rainbow dos are all of the Left, and are becoming more typical exemplars every day. The well-read Marxist with the carefully researched arguments is a thing of the past. It’s all howling Antifa punks and cowering postgrad wimps now. Just consider the ideological cannibalism created by wokism, all those brave lesbian coffeeshops and the like driven out of business by their own “collectives” protesting subconscious racism, ableism, or whatever. That’s the current climate of American leftism, and it will get worse.

The beauty of all this is that people operating on such a level are easily influenced. Without principles, or knowledge, or trustworthy information of any sort, they can be swayed by very simple processes of button pushing. They can’t be persuaded, or convinced, but they can be manipulated. We will need to get better at this.

As far as elections go this bloc will remain a critical element for as far ahead as anyone can see.
