The inevitable and building rivalry between the USA and China has become a new Cold War. American trade sanctions are being used to stop the Chinese pilfering of American technology, but with the de facto absorption of the South China Seas and Hong Kong into Mainland China’s sphere, China has made clear its intentions to expand its power and challenge the USA as a Superpower.
